Welcome to Thorberchon Farm!
Thoberchon Farm is a private, family owned equestrian facility located in the charming town of Dunbarton, NH. We offer opportunities to all ages and experience levels of riders, from toddlers to grandparents, beginners to advanced riders. In addition to both half hour and full hour lessons, we offer trail rides/pony rides, birthday parties, and horse camps throughout the year. While safety is always the number one priority, our staff are experts at balancing safety with fun and we always encourage students to expand their comfort zones to try new things!
Lessons
We offer both 30 minute lessons and 60 minute lessons, both Western and English, all on experienced, trustworthy horses and with knowledgeable trainers. All lessons are private, unless otherwise set up to be a group lesson. For group lessons, no more than 4 riders are able to ride at one time, due to space and availability of the horses.
Trail Rides
Trail rides are a fun adventure for all ages and experience levels. Every trail ride consists of approximately an hour on safe, local trails, using experienced and trustworthy horses. For every thing from mothers day presents to just because, a trail ride makes a wonderful bonding experience and will create fond memories to be remembered for years to come.
Horse Camps
Our horse camps are another sure way for your child to create wonderful lifetime memories! Open to children of all experience levels from ages 5-14, we encourage you to check it out! Every camper rides twice a day and will have the opportunity to learn about horsemanship, grooming, tacking, the parts of the horse, horse care, and may even get the opportunity to paint the horses!
Birthday Parties
What better way to celebrate a birthday than on a horse? All birthday parties are two hours long and include riding time, pool time, and time to eat. Decorations and food are not included, but there are tables that you are welcome to use to set up your party.
